Aikido Camp

Alex spent 2 hours a day this week in an introductory Aikido class. This was taught by the same sensei (teacher) that did the demonstration he saw in March. He wore a traditional student uniform called a gi (pronounced "ghee"), pictured above. He learned stranger danger avoidance including breaking a hold if someone tries to grab him. He enjoyed it and the instructor said he did well, so we may consider more classes.
