Today we went to the BodyWorlds 2 Exhibit at the Great Lakes Science Center in Cleveland. It was amazing. This was a special exhibition of real human bodies (as well as a couple of camels and a horse) that had been preserved through a process known as plastination. This process preserves them in such a way that they can be displayed in life-like poses, or dissected in ways that are unconventional, but show the human body in insightful ways. The camels I can show you, but the rest of the exhibit can't be put online, by me at least. Follow this BodyWorlds link to see some of what we saw today.
