Alex's final Tiger Cub requirement involved touring a media office and the publishers of the Toledo Parent magazine were gracious enough to take Alex on a tour. He saw where the writers and editors put together the stories and where all of the staff lays out the newspaper pages on their desktop computers. The art director took his picture and photoshopped him into their August cover. The sales manager told Alex that he used to be a scout and to keep doing it - it was worth it. They loved having him and he had a great time, and learned a little about how they communicate with the community.
